Buffalo on one of Iowa's last remaining Prairie Lands

      Film: Fuji Provia 100
    Aperture set at F11

I have photographed these Buffalo on several occasion,
but have never had the quality of light that I had this morning.
The quality of light only lasted for a few moments.
Once this glow was gone, the scene changed completely
and the magic and excitement of the moment was gone.
Being prepared helped in capturing this image.
The camera and lens were set up and ready for use.
When I came upon this scene, it was just a matter of
grabbing my tripod and placing the camera and lens on
to it. No time was hardly lost and I was able to capture
several images before the quality of light was gone and
the buffalo started moving.
