Spring Brook State Park - Iowa
This photograph is the end result of an early morning trip to Spring Brook.
Upon leaving the park, I discovered these beautiful lacy trees juxtaposed against
a gorgeous blue sky and fluffy white clouds. Trees for me are very exciting. Once
they have discarded their foliage, the inner beauty of the stately tree is revealed.

Equipment used in capturing this image:
Camera: Nikon F4s
                         Lens: Nikor 105 mm 2.8Micro AF
 Tripod: Gitzo 320    
   Film: Fuji Provia 100
        Aperture was set at F11

Tripod was set up at eye level. Camera was point upward at about a 30 Degree angle.
Not only did I shot this scene in the Horizontal, but also was captured in the Vertical.
I made several images of this scene with lens in the 20mm to 300mm range. 
This is only one of many  horizontal and vertical composition that turned out. 
Never just make one image, work the scene from many angles and try different lens.
