This photograph was captured at Spring Brook State Park which is located just a few miles north and west of the city of Panora, Iowa.

I was using a Nikon 500mm F4 lens at a distance of no more than 25 feet to create this image.

The deer in Spring Brook park accept the unusual behavior of humans. I made several photos of this Buck and thanked him for being patient with me after photographing him and I then went on my way without disturbing him.
