Blooms late summer to late fall.
Found throughout the Tallgrass prairie Region
in moist to open areas.
This image was captured on DooLittle Prairie.
This is a DNR property just south of Story City, Iowa.

               Lens: Nikor 28-85mm Zoom
Tripod: Gitzo 320  
  Film: Fuji Velvia 50
