Buttercup family (Ranunculaceae)
One of the first and most spectacular prairie
flowers of the spring. Will arrive some time in late
March and blooms up into the middle of April.

Camera:
Nikon F4s
Lens: Nikor 105mm 2.8 Micro
Tripod: Gitzo 320   
Film: Fuji Velvia     
Aperture was set at F16

Camera and tripod were set up about 12 inches above ground level.
