Solidago canadensis variety scabra
Aster Family (Asteraceae)

Common throughout the Tallgrass Prairie Region.
Found in moist to dry open sites, 
especially areas with a history of
previous disturbance.

Equipment used to capture image:
Camera: Nikon F4s
        Lens: Nikor 500mm F4
Tripod: Gitzo 320  
    Film: Fuji Provia 100
    Aperture set at F4    
 Shutter: 1/125       

Camera and tripod were set up at eye level above ground.
