Cardinal Flower
 Lobelia cardinalis
Bellflower family ( Campanulaceae )

Frequently found in wet areas including marshy 
depressions in prairies. Some what rare in the northern
part of the tallgrass prairie region.

Blooms midsummer to late fall.
